Price Model 2009
Libraries are required to maintain the value of 2007 and 2008 subscriptions to titles in the (sub-)collection(s) during the 3-year period of the license. This can be done in two ways:
- Continuation of existing subscriptions - Libraries continue subscribing to the ALJC titles they subscribed to in the 2 years previous to signing the ALJC license agreement.
- Transfer of the value of existing subscriptions into an E-Content Fee – To incentivize customer to move to E-only a 5% discount is offered on the E-Content Fee
Pricing Sample
A customer wishing to subscribe to the 2009 Medical collection who holds subscriptions with a value of 3,500 euro to the journals included in this package would pay the following:
When he wishes to maintain his existing subscriptions:
Value of existing subscriptions + E-Access Fee
3.500 euro + 9.758 euro = 13.258 euro
When he wishes to cancel his existing subscriptions:
(E-Content fee - 5% discount) + E-Access Fee
3.325 euro + 9.758 euro = 13.083 euro
